COVID-19 Ventilation Solutions
First and foremost, from all at RPJ Energy Solutions Ltd, we hope this finds you and your families well, and that you have been unaffected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the UK, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland governments continue to ease lockdown restrictions within their respective territories, we are starting to see a number of organisations and businesses preparing to return to their work premises.
As well as maintaining social distancing where possible, sanitising workstations and maintaining strong personal hygiene, an area that may be overlooked is the ventilation of your building.
The Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), and the Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA), have recently issued new guidelines, particularly applicable to buildings which are planning to reopen after a long period of inactivity or shutdown. These guidelines are critical towards providing a safe and healthy working environment to building occupants.
Guidelines recommend increased airflow, regardless of the number of occupants within the room or zone. Initially, this may seem like an additional expense to introduce, but RPJ will work with you to improve your energy efficiency. This will provide you with a more cost effective system, a reduction in CO2 emissions, a financial cost saving to your business, and most importantly a safe and efficient ventilation system.
RPJ Energy Solutions Ltd can assist you with your return to work plan, when it comes to your HVAC systems, with advice and also helping you make the necessary changes to your systems, to ensure guidelines are being met.
